Changes to eBay managed returns

eBay have updated their user agreement, and one of the latest changes signals their intention to increase the adoption of “ebay managed returns”.This is intended to give the consumer peace of mind with regard to being able returns items which are defective or did not match the item description.The text of ebay’s release states:

With the eBay managed returns process, a seller accepting returns can manage and track the return through an automated process on the site. If the buyer returns an item because it does not match the listing description, sellers will generally be responsible for return postage costs.
