Yahoo! Mail via IMAP and SMTP

Looking for some help with connecting your Yahoo! Mail account via IMAP and SMTP in ReplyManager? Follow this step by step guide to do so.

For a Yahoo account you need to allow sign in to a non Yahoo application. To do this go to Settings > Account Info > Account security. You will be asked to log into your account at this point. You will then be presented with the screen below. You need to ‘Allow apps that use less secure sign in’.

Now that you have completed the preliminary step you can return to ReplyManager to complete the set up.

1: On the navigation bar click Add > Add Channel.

2: From the marketplace dropdown select ‘Other/ Generic email’.

3: Enter your shop title and select the country of origin of your shop and click next.

4: At the receiving mode field select ‘Pull emails using IMAP’ from the dropdown.

5: For Yahoo! Mail select ‘Other’ from the Provider dropdown.

6: Input the following information and click ‘Next’.
Provider: Other
Host: imap.mail.yahoo.com
Username and password are required
Connection Type: SSL
Port: 993

7: When you have inputted your information and clicked next you will be brought to this screen. From the dropdown select ‘Send from own email address via SMTP’.

8: Insert the following information and click ‘Finish’.
Host: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Connection type: SSL
Authentication: Login
Username and password are required
Port: 465
