Who you are: 

You will be an innovative thinker, with a burning desire to create the best design & customer experience. You will have experience navigating a fast-paced Agile environment requiring independent self-direction with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. You will  articulate user experience design issues effectively and present and justify design thinking.  You will have the ability to think and design holistically to create a cohesive, coherent product experience.

What you will do:

  • Work through design problems from beginning to end: translating research insights into ideas that form disruptive new products and features, then designing the workflows and detailed interactions to realize them. 
  • Develop user- experience design concepts, wireframes, prototypes, usage scenarios, task analysis, specifications, and other UX design deliverables.
  • Understand target users’ needs, motivations, and behaviours as it relates to a specific project or area. 
  • Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design challenges.
  • Articulate user experience design issues effectively. Present and justify design thinking and rationale through key milestone deliverables to peers and stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the product roadmap by estimating level of effort and complexity of the overall project.
  • Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to implement an intuitive, seamless user experience.
  • Utilize A/B testing to present and validate design solutions.

We value a UX Designer who Has/Is:

A demonstrated track record autonomously creating innovative and engaging products, with proven skills in mentoring, presenting, inter-team partnership and effective communication

A proactive, creative, and logical problem-solver, who can articulate abstract concepts in concrete ways.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or closely related field.
  • Expertise in modern UX design tools, including Omnigraffle, Sketch, Axure, etc.
  • Deep understanding of UX design principles and methodologies as they relate to software development.
  • Highly capable in core design abilities, including composition, typography, and color theory.
  • Competency in existing and emerging interaction paradigms including touch, NUI, GUI, Virtual Reality, and the Internet ofThings.
  • Ability to prototype in HTML, CSS, JavaScript or Xcode
