The role: 

This is a terrific opportunity to work for one of Ireland's most successful tech Entrepreneurs who has finally reached a stage where he needs the help of an experienced PA to keep him sane and on track. A newly created role, working for this charismatic Founder/CEO, you will need to upwardly manage him and  remove pressure from his shoulders. As you build trust and rapport, the sky's the limit with this role. You will be involved in the nuts and bolts of the company, attending meetings with/for him so will have a fantastic 360 degree understanding of our business.

You are: 

You are high energy, confident and dynamic with excellent communication skills, diplomacy and emotional intelligence and have a good understanding of audience. 

Having worked in a similar role you won’t be phased by a fast paced environment – in fact, you’ll enjoy the challenge and will comfortably problem solve on a daily basis.  Maximising your bosses time and prioritising ruthlessly will be second nature to you. You will also have an interest in client and business development and be able to add value to your busy exec.  

You will have excellent writing and presentation skills and be a Word/Excel/Powerpoint genius. 

This is a fantastic role with lots of autonomy for someone who likes to work in a creative, innovative and buzzy environment.

You will: 

In addition to standard travel and ever changing diary management you will be assisting the CEO with both personal and business needs. Which will include but is not limited to:  

  • Comprehensive support to the CEO  that ensures a professional, responsive and effective service to relevant stakeholders (internal and external) with whom we interact.
  • Effective calendar management including the organising and scheduling of both internal and external meetings.
  • Prioritising inquiries and requests while troubleshooting conflicts with little guidance; make judgments and recommendations to ensure smooth day-to-day engagements
  • Attend and take comprehensive minutes at  meetings as required, circulate minutes with the approval of the meeting owner.
  • Produce articulate, well written communications for various events and announcements.
  • Co-ordinate complex travel arrangements. Become familiar with the specific detailed needs of the CEO and SMT; create consistent travel itinerary for reference and be available during travel times to quickly address any last-minute changes or cancellations.
  • Maintains confidentiality and use a high degree of discretion.
  • Uses Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint to produce materials for internal and external meetings and presentations along with compilation of Executive presentations
  • Acts as Office Manager managing facilities, office supplies and office environment

Your skills: 

  • The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated and proven background in a similar role, with at least 5 years' experience as a Personal Assistant.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills will be flawless and you will have proven mastery of the MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Powerpoint and Excel.
  • You will be professionally presented and be able to interact confidently with people of all levels
  • You will be a positive and motivated individual who takes ownership of the role whilst working as a part of a high performing and passionate team
