The Role

We’re looking for a remarkable, ambitious and experienced SEO/acquisition marketer to join our growing team and help us take our organic strategy to the next level. Reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, the Acquisition & SEO Manager will be responsible for building our audience, increasing awareness, driving innovation and ultimately, helping us get to the next stage of growth. 

The ideal candidate will be obsessed with growth, have a keen understanding of the latest SEO trends and be an expert audience builder.  As xSellco’s SEO expert, you’ll be building out our organic growth strategy and working closely with key partners such as Content Marketing, Demand Generation and Product Marketing.

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Develop and executing a strategy to grow high-quality organic traffic to xSellco and our other owned assets
  • Build the traffic and awareness for the xSellco blog but also collaborate to ensure all content on our web properties is optimized for SEO.
  • Conduct  keyword research to identify opportunities and help inform our content strategy. You will be the voice of SEO in all content creation.  
  • Report at an executive level and see the huge impact your work will have. 
  • Manage off-page optimization and building domain authority through link building
  • Partner with demand generation and our content team optimize our integrated marketing campaigns.

What skills do I need? 

  • Proven experience in SEO or similar role in a fast paced, high growth organisation, B2B or B2C. Minimum 4 years. 
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest SEO practices and the technical aspects of SEO
  • Extensive experience working in Google Analytics and comfortable with other analytics tools (Tableau preferred).
  • Familiarity with relevant SEO tools (e.g. Google Search Console, SEMRush, MOZ)
  • Experience working with agencies and cross collaboration with multiple team members would be an advantage
  • BSc/BA in Marketing or related field is a nice to have but not essential
