Accounts Assistant

Founded in 2012 by Irish tech entrepreneur Ray Nolan, xSellco is a rapidly growing company headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. xSellco is now recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join the finance team.

Responsibilities will include providing assistance in the following tasks:

Accounts Receivable 

  • Prepare and issue Sales Invoices
  • Issue refunds and credit notes
  • Collection of overdue accounts in a timely and efficient manner. 

Accounts Payable

  • Retrieve and process supplier invoices and post to general ledger
  • Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements to accounts payable ledger

Bank

  • Preparation of payments list to ensure all suppliers are paid in a timely manner 
  • Post incoming and outgoing bank payments to relevant ledger.
  • Payments of employee expense claims including vouching expense claims to receipts
  • Process of employee credit card transactions including vouching receipts to statements, and posting to general ledger

Tax

  • Preparation of various tax returns and submission to Revenue

Payroll

  • Preparation, payment and reconciliation of payroll

Revenue Reconciliation

  • Reconcile revenue to xSellco’s own Bespoke Software

Month End

  • Month end procedures and preparation of Monthly Management accounts

Administrative 

  • General administrative tasks as required

Requirements

  • 3+ years previous accounts / bookkeeping experience 
  • Excellent organisational skills and proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and be highly numerate
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible and have the ability to adapt to challenging environments and situations
  • Self starter with an ability to work on their own initiative and demonstrate the ability to be a strong team player
  • Customer focused with the ability to collaborate with other departments whenever necessary
  • A positive, enthusiastic, ‘can-do’ attitude and flexible approach to work 
  • Self-motivated and highly organised, with the ability to multitask and prioritise work 
  • Highly efficient with the ability to prioritise tasks and ensure that all documentation and queries are dealt with in a timely manner
